Byron Foster

Chief Executive Officer

Byron Foster serves as chief executive officer of Dana Incorporated, a global leader in the design and manufacture of highly efficient propulsion solutions for the light- and commercial-vehicle markets.

Most recently, Mr. Foster served as senior vice president and president of Light Vehicle Systems, Dana’s largest business unit. Under his leadership, the Light Vehicle Systems business has delivered strong sales growth and profit margin improvement. He joined Dana in 2021 as senior vice president and chief commercial, marketing, and communications officer. He is also a member of the Dana Incorporated board of directors.

Byron is a veteran of the mobility industry, serving for more than two decades in senior executive commercial and operational roles at Johnson Controls, Inc., and Adient plc. 

He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University. Byron is a member of the board of directors of Wabtec Corporation, a leading global provider of equipment, systems, and services for the rail, mining, and industrial markets.
