Byron Foster

Senior Vice President / President, Light Vehicle Systems

Byron Foster serves as senior vice president and president of Light Vehicle Systems, Dana’s largest business unit. He joined Dana in 2021 as senior vice president and chief commercial, marketing, and communications officer, where he directed global commercial strategy and provided executive oversight for the company’s marketing and communications functions. In February 2026, Mr. Foster was named Dana’s next chief executive officer and will assume the role on July 1. He has also been appointed to the Dana Incorporated board of directors.

Byron is a veteran of the mobility industry, serving for more than two decades in senior executive commercial and operational roles at Johnson Controls, Inc., and Adient plc. 

He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University. Byron is a member of the board of directors of Wabtec Corporation, a leading global provider of equipment, systems, and services for the rail, mining, and industrial markets.
