Mark Wallace

Mark Wallace serves as executive vice president and president of Dana’s Commercial Driveline Technologies and aftermarket. With more than 20 years in the automotive industry, he has strong expertise in turnaround management, global growth and strategy, manufacturing, and mergers and acquisitions.

Mark joined Dana in October 2008 as president of operational excellence, with a focus on operational planning, process engineering, and manufacturing footprint optimization (MFO).  In 2009, he gained responsibility for Dana’s Heavy Vehicle Products Group, encompassing the company’s global commercial vehicle and off‐highway businesses and was promoted to executive vice president and president of On-Highway Driveline Technologies group in June 2011. He was named executive vice president and president of Light Vehicle Driveline Technologies in September 2012, before being named to his current role in January 2014. Mark assumed additional responsibility for Dana’s aftermarket in 2016.

Prior to joining Dana, Mark spent more than a decade in leadership roles at subsidiaries of Webasto A.G., a leading supplier of open roof systems and thermosystems. He served as president and CEO of Webasto Products N.A., as well as COO, general manager, and plant manager. During his time there, Mark developed standardized production systems (based on the Toyota Production System), improved the product-development process, and achieved strong business growth and customer recognition for the company’s North American manufacturing plants.  In addition to Webasto, Mark also worked in various quality and production positions at Magna International and Cooper Automotive earlier in his career.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering and Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Tennessee.
