Doug Liedberg

Senior Vice President / Chief Legal and Human Resources Officer / Corporate Secretary

Douglas H. Liedberg is senior vice president, chief legal and human resources officer, and corporate secretary of Dana Incorporated. Reporting directly to the company chairman and chief executive officer, Doug oversees all of Dana’s worldwide legal affairs and human resource functions. 

Doug first joined Dana in 1999, before leaving the company in 2001 to serve as a partner in the Corporate Practice Group of the Dentons law firm, advising a wide range of clients with a focus in the areas of corporate law, commercial transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.  Doug rejoined Dana in 2004, serving in the role of senior counsel for mergers and acquisitions until his promotion to associate general counsel in 2008.   Doug was appointed general counsel and secretary in 2017 and in 2025 assumed the additional role of chief human resource officer. 

He received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School; an MBA from the Duke University Fuqua School of Business; and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, with a minor in business administration, from Rockford University.
