Technologies - Electronic Torque Coupling
This latest advancement in electronic torque coupling technology is Dana’s first in a series of new electronically controlled all-wheel-drive solutions aimed at improving vehicle mobility. It has the capability of seamlessly transferring torque from the driving axle to the non-driving axle, from front to rear or rear to front in any vehicle. This system provides continuous uninterrupted performance under any driving conditions and axles equipped with Dana’s electronic torque coupling are compatible with all forms of anti-lock braking and vehicle stability control systems.

This unique torque coupling can be programmed to deliver zero to 100 percent of the available torque to the wheels as determined by the software program.
